Latest poco M3 full review
Poco is known for its deadly smartphone, but they are now changing gears with the new Poco M3. It is an affordable entry level phone but offers some competitive features like good battery life and stereo speakers.
Let’s see what it is in our full review.
The Poco M3 is an entry level smartphone, but you can not imagine it at first glance. The back is actually plastic, and Poco is not trying to hide it and can see the glass and the Poco logo. Instead of making glossy glass, the back panel is almost matte with glossy clay.
It adds a lot of catches. The frame is also made of plastic, and is sharp and hollow, giving good grip. The Poco M3 is lightweight - about 200 grams - due to its large battery pack, but it looks good on hand. On the front is a large 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen, covered with Gorilla Glass 3, with 1080p resolution and a drop-down slider at the top of the selfie camera
It has a very good performance, it is good to have 1080p at this price. And on-screen content looks sharp. Contrast with dark black is good and light is also good. When we estimate up to a maximum of 440 nits in auto mode in bright conditions. The colors outside the box are not very accurate, but we were able to achieve better color accuracy using the color settings.
What amazes us about the Poco M3 is that it not only has a 3.5mm jack headphone jack, but also has dedicated stereo speakers - something you often see on premium devices. They are placed above and below the frame and they look very balanced. Overall his acting is one of the best he has heard recently. The Poco M3 received a "good" mark in our sound test and also had strong bass and excellent middle tones.
Poco battery life
Another highlight of the Poco M3 is the battery life, thanks to its large 6000mAh power pack.
You have to work hard to find a phone with good battery life. The Poco M3 was able to do an extraordinary test of 154 hours on our battery life! On the other hand, the charging speed is quite impressive. The M3 supports charging up to 18W, with its integrated adapter we were able to charge from zero to 25% in half an hour. The Poco M3is is up and down with a stand-in fingerprint reader
Storage by device
It was very reactive, though not like some of the students, as we have seen recently, probably due to the early animation. Depending on the storage, you can choose 64 or 128GB on board and it can be expanded via micro SD. The interface of the Poco M3 in Android 10 is MIUI 12. It is similar to the way you work on the latest Xiaomi smartphone. Many functions are provided by Google Apps, such as gallery, music or security apps. In MIUI 12 you can split the notification shadow into 2 panels - Notification Panel and Control Panel, which you can see on iOS. If you wish, there is an auto-enabled app cabinet that keeps all your apps tidy and orderly. Finally, even on our unit, we periodically see ads in some applications or when the virus scanner is hot after installing anything in the Google Play Store. And some markets may be worse.
Below the Pood M3 is the Snapdragon 662 chipset, a newly released, but low-quality silicone. Do a good job in this segment but the budget position of the performance Poco M3 shines. However, you will occasionally encounter mold when swiping the home screen or switching between apps. Without opening the image settings or lowering the game resolution to 720p, you may encounter some problems when using heavy apps or games. Once you do this, you can do it well.
Now, join the Poco M3 cameras.
There are three cameras in the background, but basic setup. It has a 48MP quad-buyer camera, 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor. Photos from the main camera appear at 12 dim and during the day they are very good for this class. There is enough detail, balanced sharpness, beautiful contrast and vibrant colors. The dynamic range is moderate and the corners are a little smoother and have a visual sound, but overall the images are better than we imagined. Deep sensor is here to help with portrait mode and these images look beautiful.
There are beautiful details, versatile varieties and natural looking landscapes. Close-up shots taken with a macro camera are ideal when there is enough brightness. You can get enough 2MP detail and less noise, but the difference is not good. The problem is that with concentration, it usually takes a lot of effort to sharpen a large gun. In low light, photos taken with a large camera are of medium quality.
There are enough details but the images are dark and very sharp, with clear colors. We noticed that when you turn on the AI camera mode at night, you get a brighter picture with the restore brightness.
There is also dedicated night mode support. It brightens the universe, restores highlights and clears the sound. However this can lead to the loss of good data.
The Poco M3 features an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. These images have real brightness and color and the details are not interrupted. There is a wide range of visual noise and stimuli and we also had some problems with exposure. Video can be recorded.
