How to promote your products on Instagram stories
- You already know a lot of Instagram stories, but you probably have trouble figuring out how to use Instagram stories as a promotional tool. That's what we're talking about today.
(great fun music) Let’s come up with a strategy for your Instagram Story game, starting with these five tips.
And be sure to stick to the end, because I will be sharing the most common mistakes I see businesses making on Instagram.
Point no. 1
So my Frist tip is to include the Countdown feature in Instagram Stories which you will find on the right side of the screen, under the stickers tab. The Countdown feature can be used in two different ways, you can use it to look at a special presentation whether that promotes a new product, or maybe a specialoffer you may have. Or you can use it during the actual launch live and count the remaining number of hours. This is really powerful, because it allows your audience to choose to tap the count yourself, and sign up to know when the countdown is complete.
Not only is this glamorous, but it also appeals to them, but it also creates a sense of urgency for us advertisers who know that the marketing strategy is very powerful.
Tip number two.
You may already be using your highlighting category, but are you changing it to update your promotion? Your highlighting section on your page is prime real estate. And especially with promotions, you will be getting new tonof views on your profile.
Consider using the outstanding section to educate your customer about your promotion, share customer feedback, and drive sales. And yes, that is a different highlight. I don't want you to put all of this in one highlight. It should sound really easy for them to just click on something, get a quick review of what they thought they were going to watch, and then move on to the next one.
I want to share some great topic recommendations with you, but keep in mind that this varies, depending on the industry you are in and what business you have. The first example of the highlight that every business should do is the About Us section. This should tell you all about who you are and what you do, who you work for and how you serve.
The second one I highly recommend is Testimonials. Evidence is a great way to have social proof and anyone who visits your profile will get a quick idea of the kind of work you do.
Point no.3
The third thing I recommend is to have a local highlight. If you have a physical distribution, this is very helpful, because people want to know how to find you and where you are, where to park, things like that. If you have an online business then you even have something to show you, you know, how can I work with you, when I have to go online.
Make it clear and straightforward how they can get what they want. Another good example is making a Portfolio section. So whatever you sell, you have it there so people can see exactly what they will get, it will always help with the sale. Another thing you like about your highlight, is that you have a section directly approved on your IGTV channel.
If you don't know, there is a way, no matter how many fans you have, you can swipe your news and let people go and watch your IGTV video. If you want to learn more about it, you can do so by clicking the link above here.
Most importantly, you will take those stories where you tell people to swipe to your IGTV channel, and you will put them all in one highlight, so people can quickly and easily browse your stories to see which IGTV videothey you would like to see and see, and they can swipe to be directed directly to that video.
Lastly, find an outstanding one that speaks volumes about your promotion, and clearly explains what promotions are, what they get, if there are any differences, how long they last. The third tip is about building Community Evidence using Instagram Stories. What I want to do is supply chain management.
Encourage your customers to post proof on their InstagramStories where they tagged you and in return, they are included on the Amazon $ 100 gift card. This will lead to this, with tons of your customers making news where they talk about why they liked your product, and then when you are able to resubmit the news on your story, which creates more excitement and energy during your promotion. My fourth tip is for viewers who sell a limited amount of your product or service.
What I’m going to ask you to do, is log in to InstagramStories and in fact, you’ll be sending a grid from one to 20 if you sell 20. And let your audience know that every few hours, I will review them, let them know how many have sold. Suppose you sold 15 in the first hour, you would mark all 15, to show them that you sold 15. This creates a sense of urgency, creates a sense of inadequacy, and creates social evidence. My fifth tip is to go through life with your promotion. I want you to use Stickersfeature in Instagram Stories, which you can find on the right side of the screen.
Tap Questions. And what I want you to do, let your audience ask you a question about your nomination. From there you will leave it for up to 24 hours. What you will do then is, you will be live, and when you go live, on the right side of the screen, you will see a small question box. Tap the question box.
What happens, when all the questions your audience asks you on that question sticker, they will fill in at the bottom of your screen. You will choose the question you want to answer, then you will look at all your viewersThe live Instagram interface gives you the opportunity to answer everyone's question so they can get closer to the sale. If you wait more than 24h
